An employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a specialist in China, Kanaiym Baktygulova, was nominated for the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to China. Parliament informed 24.kg news agency.
Her candidacy will be considered at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on international affairs.
Kanaiym Baktygulova has already headed the diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan in the PRC and Mongolia, concurrently from 2013 to 2017.
Previously, the position was held by Azamat Usenov. He was dismissed in December 2018 by a decree of the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov.
