Visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan is expected in the first half of 2019. The new head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov told in an interview with Kommersant newspaper.
He paid his first foreign visit to Moscow (Russia), where he held talks with the Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov. The meeting lasted a little longer than planned.

And yes, today I am here on my first trip abroad. Foremost, we have outlined a number of important bilateral events. We discussed plans to prepare a return visit by the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan in the first half of 2019. I invited Sergey Viktorovich to pay an official visit to Bishkek,» Chingiz Aidarbekov stressed.
