President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The press service of the head of state reported.
Sadyr Japarov congratulated Vladimir Putin «on his convincing victory in the presidential election, noting that this is clear evidence of the high recognition and support by the Russian people for wise policies and dedicated work to strengthen state sovereignty, improve the well-being of the population, and pursue an independent and open foreign policy of the Russian Federation.»
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic is convinced that joint efforts to further strengthen relations of alliance and strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Russia will continue to contribute to the development of the entire range of interstate cooperation in priority areas.
The leaders also discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Russian bilateral and multilateral cooperation, interaction between the countries within the framework of integration associations, as well as the upcoming jubilee meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow in May this year, which Sadyr Japarov will attend.
