Kazakhstan will export gasoline to Kyrgyzstan at a market price. The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev said answering journalists’ questions after a government meeting. Kazinform reports.
«The relevant documents have been prepared. We sent them to our colleagues in Kyrgyzstan. My deputy or head of the department will go there this week,» said Kanat Bozumbayev.
According to him, the issue of gasoline exports to Kyrgyzstan will be resolved within 2-3 weeks.
«We will send gasoline to Kyrgyzstan at a market price in batches of about 10,000 tons each. Three refineries have been modernized, and gasoline is being produced with a surplus in the country. If we export gasoline, we will divide its delivery into periods and set quotas,» explained Kanat Bozumbayev.
The price of gasoline in Kazakhstan at the beginning of the year was at the level of 160-165 tenge. Currently, AI 92 in the regions of Kazakhstan costs about 150-155 tenge.
