MP tells about conditions for deliveries of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan

Deputy Minister of Economy Eldar Alisherov told the deputies of the Parliament about the conditions under which Kazakhstan was ready to supply fuel and lubricants to Kyrgyzstan.

According to him, Kazakhstan offered to sign an agreement on certain goods. The Ministry of Economy considers this inappropriate. «The agreement should be divided into two. There are domestic procedures so far. We will reach signing soon,» said Eldar Alisherov.

He added that Kyrgyzstan would be able to buy fuel only with export duties. In addition, after signing the agreement, the Kyrgyz Republic should revise the indicative balance with Russia.

In July, the State Committee of Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use reported that it planned to achieve duty-free deliveries of fuel and lubricants from Kazakhstan: crude oil — 200,000 tons, gasoline — 400,000-500,000, diesel fuel — 200,000 tons. Kazakhstan is ready to begin deliveries in November.
