By 2045, the debts of the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan will reach 106 billion soms. The head of the National Energy Holding Azamat Abdykadyrov told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, there are a lot of loans in the energy sector. «Our assets for 89 percent consist of borrowed capital. This is a big threat to energy sector. We need to think about payment of the debts. First of all, the question of tariffs arises,» said Azamat Abdykadyrov.
The energy holding intends to show ways to improve the energy sector, otherwise we will lose it.

He added that by 2045 debts would reach 106 billion soms. Now they make up 20 percent of the gross product. The peak of payments will come in 2025 — 11 billion soms, this is 50 percent of the revenue.
