Joint operational-strategic exercises Combat Brotherhood 2018 will be held in the territory of three Central Asian countries under the aegis of CSTO from October 1 to November 2. The reconnaissance units of the Armed Forces of the CSTO member states will participate in them. The head of the joint headquarters of the organization Anatoly Sidorov said at a briefing.
According to him, the exercises will be held in Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Search 2018 and exercises of the peacekeeping forces Indestructible Brotherhood, as well as exercises of the CSTO Collective Rapid Deployment Force of the Central Asian region Frontier 2018 will take place.
Anatoly Sidorov stressed that military training operations would be held in several stages. It is planned to work out a set of measures on prevention, resolving of a military conflict and post-conflict settlement.
More than 10,000 servicemen will be involved in the events.
