A new system of online filling out the forms for obtaining visas to China and scheduling an appointment at the Embassy started working since July 1, 2018. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to its data, applicants for Chinese visas (except for Hong Kong) have to fill out an online application form on the website https://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn/ and select the date and time of the appointment from the possible options. Appointment is scheduled both by sending a message to the embassy’s e-mail address with filling out 2013 questionnaire by hand, and also via the online system with a new electronic visa application form.
From August 1, 2018, only the online scheduling through the dedicated website will be available. Visa applications of 2013 will not be accepted.
«After completing online visa application forms and scheduling an appointment, you should print the questionnaires and confirmation of the appointment and have them with you when visiting the Embassy. To obtain a visa to the special administrative region Hong Kong, it is necessary to fill in an appropriate visa application form for Hong Kong and make an appointment by sending a message to the email address of the Embassy of China in Kyrgyzstan. Additional information on the requirements for documents for obtaining Chinese visas can be found on the website of the Embassy of the PRC in the Kyrgyz Republic,» the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
