The health of the accused of corruption ex-Minister of Energy, the deputy of the Parliament Osmonbek Artykbaev, worsened after he was placed in the pretrial detention center of the State Committee for National Security. Own sources informed 24.kg news agency.
According to them, the ambulance was called several times for the deputy under investigation.
«Osmonbek Artykbaev’s lawyer appealed the decision of the first instance court on his arrest in Bishkek City Court. The date of hearing is still unknown, but the defense intends to petition for his release under house arrest for health reasons,» sources said.
Criminal case was opened against Osmonbek Artykbaev on June 5. The investigators conducted face-to-face interrogation between him and the former head of Energy Holding Company Aibek Kaliev. After it, the former Minister of Energy was charged with corruption and placed in SCNS pretrial detention center.
