Asel Kulambaeva was appointed the Vice Mayor of Bishkek. She will oversee the social issues.
The Bishkek City Administration informed 24.kg news agency that Asel Kulambaeva has been fulfilling the vice mayor’s duties since June 1 by the mayor’s decree. She was introduced to the staff the day before.
Former vice mayor Aigul Ryskulova wrote a letter of resignation at her own request.
Asel Kulambayeva is 45 years old. She has higher education.
