The Internal Affairs Department opened a criminal investigation into the traffic accident in which the Missis World, Saniya Shakirova, was killed. The Internal Affairs Department for Issyk-Kul region informed 24.kg news agency.
«The 31-year-old driver, moving along Balykchi — Ananyevo — Karakol road, crashed into the fence of a cemetery and turned over in Chok-Tal village. One passenger died at the scene. The driver was brought to Bishkek for surgery, one more passenger was hospitalized in Cholpon-Ata hospital. A criminal case was initiated under the article «Violation of traffic safety and vehicle operation rules,» the Internal Affairs Department noted.
