The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbai Jeenbekov, congratulated the Kyrgyz citizens on June 1 — International Child Protection Day. The presidential press service reported.
«This day is intended to remind us that children need the care and protection of parents, that the state and society are responsible for the life and health of children, for their education, security and future. Every child has the right to a happy childhood, a decent life and a bright future. It is our duty to ensure this for our children,» the congratulatory message says.
To bring up a physically healthy, intelligent and decent child, one must protect him or her not only from illness and violence, but also from negative psychological and informational influences, from bad habits.

The President said that the state would strengthen the effectiveness of work to ensure the safety of children, including road safety, prevention and eradication of violence. Children with poor health, with disabilities, those left without parental care and subjected to violence, need special care and protection.
«Every child is born with abilities and talents. You just have to wake them up and nurture them. Children who grew up in the love and affection of parents, educators, grow up intelligent, cheerful, educated and spiritually developed people. Therefore, we must give our children more time, to be their most trusted and close people; to put our strength and soul into our children and grandchildren, strive to raise a real person, worthy citizens of the Fatherland,» the message says.
