A man died while playing kok-boru game in Uch-Emchek village, Talas region. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed 24.kg news agency.
The accident occurred yesterday during the celebration of Nooruz.
«It is known that a 32-year-old local resident fell from a horse and lost consciousness. The doctors brought him to hospital, but the man died. His body is in the morgue now. Investigative and operational measures are conducted,» press service of the Interior Ministry reported.
This is the third case of death during kok-boru game in the past few months in Kyrgyzstan. On January 25, a 12-year-old boy was killed in Japalak village in southern Kyrgyzstan. Another accident occurred on January 28 in Ak-Bata village, Alamudun district.
