Kyrgyzstan finishes year in top ten of world basketball rankings

Kyrgyzstan finishes the year in the top ten of the world basketball rating 3×3 (streetball). This is reported by the official website of the international federation (FIBA).

The latest version of the rating was published on December 27. By tradition, it has three age groups. Among men, the Kyrgyz Republic ranks 36^th out of 192, and among women, 26 out of 147.

In the category of up to 23 years the country is the 24^th among men and the 19^th among women.

As before, the highest place the KR takes in the category of under 18 years: among the boys — the tenth; and among the girls — 21^st.

The outgoing year was important for the world and national basketball 3×3: this kind was included in the program of the Olympic Games-2020, the women’s team of the KR performed at the World Cup for the first time in history.
