One more rally held in Talas

People gather in Talas town on the square near the state administration building. Department of Internal Affairs of the town informed 24.kg news agency.

According to the police, there are not more than 50 people. The participants of the rally themselves claim that there are more than a hundred of them.

Law enforcement officers did not allow the demonstrators to install equipment and a tribune. They were asked to go to the town stadium, because the rally is unauthorized. The rally participants refused to change the place and again put forward demands for the president of the country.

The Internal Affairs Directorate notes that the people behave peacefully and do not commit any unlawful acts.

Recall, a rally was held on October 29 in Talas. Its participants insisted that the president should apologize to the residents of Talas region. In their opinion, the head of state, speaking on October 18 in Bishkek at the State Residence Ala-Archa during the ceremony of awarding the students, unfairly criticized the participants of the rally, which was held in Talas on October 16. Its participants did not agree with the results of the presidential elections.
