Situation at Ak-Zhol checkpoint on Kyrgyz-Kazakh border improving

The situation at Ak-Zhol checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border is improving. The queue of vehicles has significantly reduced. 2-3 trucks are waiting for opportunity to cross the border. The other vehicles are cars and passenger minibuses. The queue stretched for about 100-200 meters.

There are also no problems with crossing of the border from Kazakhstan’s side.

However, two ambulances are still on duty at the checkpoint and there are tents with hot meals and tea for those who are stuck in line at the border.
