All villages of Kyrgyzstan will be provided with drinking water by 2026. Director of the department of drinking water supply and water disposal of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utility Services Askarbek Toktoshev told today at a press conference.

According to him, three villages will be provided with drinking water this year within Ala-Too Bulagy program, and in three years, the clean water will be in 117 villages in Osh, Issyk-Kul and Batken regions.

According to Askarbek Toktoshev, the program is planned until 2026 and includes 650 villages which have problems with clean water. «It is financed by the Islamic Development Bank and the World Bank for $ 94 million," the director of the department said.
