Pedestrian crossings to appear near all Bishkek schools till September 2017

Until September 2017, the mayor’s office of the capital will mark pedestrian crossings near all Bishkek schools. The vice mayor of the capital Erkinbek Isakov said this today at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on transport, communications, architecture and construction.

Today, the deputies consider the information of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on road safety and on the introduction of a hardware and software complex for video surveillance, as well as photo and video recording, photo and video recognition in the cities of Bishkek and Osh.

According to Erkinbek Isakov, the total length of the pedestrian crossings in front of schools will be 219 square meters. Cold thermoplastic technology will be used in marking.
