A rockfall of approximately 105 cubic meters has occurred on an internal service road leading to the Toktogul Hydropower Plant (HPP) in the city of Kara-Kul, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to the ministry, the road is temporarily closed, and a detour route is available. No injured have been reported.
Three heavy-duty trucks and one loader from the Toktogul HPP are working to clear the road.
