Bishkek to host 11th summit of Organization of Turkic States

Bishkek will host the next 11th summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on the topic of «Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future and Security for All» on November 6. Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the presidential administration, reported.

The leaders of the countries will discuss further development of multilateral cooperation within the OTS, make decisions on pressing issues on the current agenda of the organization, and sign a number of multilateral documents, including the final declaration.

The chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States in 2025 will be transferred to the Kyrgyz Republic.

A number of events are planned for the period of the upcoming chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic of the OTS to strengthen ties between the participating countries, create new opportunities for economic growth and improve the standard of living in the region.

The summit will be attended by the heads of five member states of the organization: the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the leaders of the observer countries.
