Kyrgyzstani Asan Zhanyshov won bronze at the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships among youth in Albania. The Department of Physical Culture and Sports reported.
In the 1/16 finals, he defeated Venezuelan wrestler Brian Ruiz Marin with a score 10:1. In the 1/8 finals, he defeated his opponent from Armenia Vigen Nazaryan with a score 6:0 and got into the quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinals, Asan Zhanyshov defeated Ukrainian wrestler Vladislav Dyagilev with a score 6:0, and in the semifinals he lost to Russian wrestler Aues Gonibov.
In the fight for bronze, the Kyrgyzstani defeated Payton Jacobson from the USA.
