A resident of Shark village was detained in Kara-Suu district for giving a bribe of $10,000 to an investigator. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The 59-year-old «aiyl bashchy» (head of the village) was detained on October 10 while handing over the bribe. It was found out that the man handed over the money to stop criminal prosecution against himself.
The case states that he provided several residents of Shark village in Kara-Suu district with forged documents for land plots for the construction of individual housing in 2015.
