Driver of an Audi Q7 hit a 7-year-old girl in Bishkek, the press service of the capital’s Main Department of Internal Affairs reported.
The moment of the road accident was captured by a surveillance camera. The footage shows two girls and a woman crossing the road. At that moment, an SUV turns and, without slowing down, hits one of the girls.
The accident occurred on September 23 at about 6.30 p.m. at the intersection of Imanaliev and Gagarin Streets. The driver was identified as 39-year-old T.M. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene. The fact was registered and all necessary examinations have been ordered. A medical examination showed that the driver was drunk at the time of the accident. His car was taken to the impound lot.
