The First Open Children’s Delphic Games of the CIS member states have started in Bishkek. The opening ceremony took place in the Toktogul Satylganov Philharmonic Hall, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
This year, special attention is paid to the Paradelphic nomination — a competitive direction, where performances are presented using a sign language. This category emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and demonstrates how art can unite people, overcoming any barriers.
The Delphic Games program covers such areas as piano, violin, classical guitar, fine arts, pop singing, folk dancing and solo performance. Participants will also be able to demonstrate their skills in arts and crafts and performing songs in sign language.
The Games will run until October 5, 2024 and will not only be a talent competition, but also an opportunity for young participants to exchange experience and strengthen cultural ties between the CIS countries.
