Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Murashko in Moscow.
The parties discussed the possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors make medical decisions, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Health clarified.
According to it, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of primary health care and digital transformation, prospects for modernization of the health insurance system were also considered.
As Mikhail Murashko assured, Russia will help in working out a strategy for the development of the Kyrgyz healthcare system. He promised Moscow’s support from a methodological and practical point of view.
Development of promising cooperation in the field of medical education and personnel training was also discussed. According to the Russian Minister of Health, students from 150 countries are currently studying throughout the country, which is two-thirds of the world. 313 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are studying in medical educational organizations of the Russian Ministry of Health in bachelor’s, specialist and master’s degree programs.
