At least 96 projects for the development of the agro-industrial complex are being implemented in Kyrgyzstan. The Eurasian Development Bank reported.
According to its data, about 20 projects have already received financing in the amount of more than 1 billion soms.
Main areas: trade and logistics centers, wool processing, dairy production, poultry farming, fish farming.
Financing is provided within the framework of the program "Lending to the agro-industrial complex" through the state-owned Aiyl Bank and Eldik Bank, as well as through bilateral development funds and funds from international organizations.
The EDB added that there are also plans to invest $1.2 billion in the modernization of Manas and Osh airports and the construction of a new international airport in Jalal-Abad.
