China built a bridge at Irkeshtam checkpoint on the state border of China and Kyrgyzstan. Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Almaz Turgunbaev announced at a meeting of the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
The bridge was built in Alay district of Osh region on Osh — Sary-Tash — Irkeshtam highway. The length of the bridge is 187 meters, the width is 24 meters.
The Chinese side built the bridge at its own expense, it will be transferred to Kyrgyzstan for use.
