«In addition, the President informed that, as an active supporter of mountain issues, Kyrgyzstan has been working for more than 20 years to integrate mountain issues into the global agenda. The Mountain Initiatives, including the UN General Assembly resolution on Sustainable Development, have received widespread recognition and international support.
At the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, within the framework of the SB60 Conference, a global Dialogue on Mountains and Climate Change was held in Bonn on June 5 of this year,» the statement says.
In order to consolidate this dialogue, he proposed to hold this event annually as an annual event of the UN Framework Convention.

The President emphasized that current transport interaction within the organization is gaining momentum, including through joint work on the formation of unified digital platforms in customs procedures.
Japarov welcomed signing of an agreement on international multimodal transportation between the member states of the OTS and the Cooperation Program in the field of transport. He noted that the implementation of China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway construction project, which will reveal a new strategically important transit potential and new large markets for the OTS countries, can contribute to strengthening the transport interconnectedness of the OTS member countries.
