At least 33 state irrigation facilities were destroyed in April-May due to heavy rains in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry reported.
The amount of damage reached 13.6 million soms.
Local structural units of the Water Resources Service are carrying out priority restoration work at the destroyed facilities and resuming the supply of irrigation water.
