Inflow of investments into Kyrgyzstan decreases by third

From January to September 2023, the inflow of investments into Kyrgyzstan decreased by 31.6 percent compared to the same period last year.

Deputy Director of the National Agency for Investments Zhibek Abdullaeva said at a press conference that the influx of foreign direct investment into the Kyrgyz Republic for nine months of this year amounted to $654,621.9 million.

The figure was $958 million in 2022. This means that, in contrast to the same period last year, it decreased by $303.4 million.

The president constantly talks about the need to attract money to the country. For example, on Facebook he called on Kyrgyzstanis not to deceive foreign investors.
