The inflow of foreign direct investment into Kyrgyzstan for nine months of 2023 amounted to $654,621.9 million. Deputy Director of the National Investment Agency Zhibek Abdullaeva announced at a press conference.
According to her, last year investments mainly came from Turkey, China and Russia. This year the top three countries are China ($157.8 million), Russia ($131.7 million) and Kazakhstan ($54.9 million).
«Mainly such industries as mining, light industry, trade, agriculture, and communications account for the inflow of foreign direct investment,» Zhibek Abdullaeva noted.
