Construction of a new municipal livestock market in Chet-Bulak quarter of Batken has been completed. It will be put into operation on December 30. The press service of the Batken City Hall reported.
According to it, the market was built at the expense of the local budget; a total of 22.8 million soms were spent on it. All conditions have been created for buyers and sellers of livestock.
Batken City Hall has allocated 1.5 hectares of land, and the market will be under the control of the municipality.
In the spring of 2022, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, ordered to asphalt all livestock markets in Kyrgyzstan within a month.
