The procedure for issuing visas of the People’s Republic of China has been simplified for citizens of Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Embassy of China has lifted the requirement for mandatory electronic pre-registration for submitting visa applications from December 17. The Consular Section will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis on established days and hours.
The requirement to provide an invitation from the Chinese side with a special barcode for entrepreneurs, as well as citizens traveling to the PRC on a business trip to participate in cultural, scientific and educational events, was also canceled.
Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic can apply for a Chinese visa of the appropriate category if they have an invitation, as well as a petition/appeal from authorized government bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The ministry reminds that from November 7, consular legalization of documents of the Kyrgyz Republic intended for use in the territory of the People’s Republic of China, with an apostille, is no longer required.
