A corruption scheme has been detected in the provision of land plots for individual housing construction in Nooken district of Jalal-Abad region. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
It is noted that from 2017 to 2021, officials of Burgondu rural area provided land plots for individual housing construction for monetary compensation without consideration by the commission and without observing the order. Land plots were issued to persons who own housing, who are not registered in the territory of this rural area, as well as to citizens under 18.
In connection with the case, the former head of Burgondu rural area and a land management specialist were detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the State Committee for National Security for Jalal-Abad region.
