A fraudster who had been wanted for three years was detained in Kemin district. The press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
A local resident contacted the police and asked to take action against a man named Maksat. Having gained trust, in August 2021 he took 114 heads of lambs and disappeared.
«In the course of investigative actions, citizen T.A., 45, was detained in a barn of one of the houses in Dachi Su village. He was placed in a temporary detention facility on suspicion of committing this crime,» the statement says.
Involvement of the detainee in committing other similar crimes in Chui region is being checked. The investigation continues.
