U.S. dollar continues to depreciate in Kyrgyzstan. During the week it depreciated by almost 50 tyiyns.
Today exchange offices of the capital and commercial banks buy the dollar for 88.4-88.6 soms and sell it for 89.25-89.5 soms. The nominal exchange rate was set by the National Bank at 88.8176 soms (0.13 drop).
Euro remains relatively stable. Today it is bought for 95.9-96.6 soms, sold — for 97.1-97.6 soms. Its official rate is 96.9888 som (up 0.18 percent).
The Russian ruble is still more expensive than the Kyrgyz som. It is bought for 0.995-1 som and sold for 1.02-1.03 soms. Its nominal exchange rate is 1.0058 som (0.42 percent drop).
Kazakh tenge is also stable. It is bought for 0.128-0.1348 soms, sold — for 0.197-0.21 soms with the official rate of 0.126 soms (1.08 percent drop).
