Member of an organized crime group was detained in Osh city for extortion. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The man, threatening with physical harm, extorted 500,000 soms from a resident of Nookat district. He was caught red-handed while taking 166,000 soms.
«The detainee is registered as a member of an organized crime group. In addition, it was established that in 2018 he was convicted of robbery. The suspect was placed in the temporary detention center of Aravan District Department of Internal Affairs. The investigation is ongoing,» the ministry said.
