The buying rate of the U.S. dollar has slightly dropped, but the euro has appreciated in Kyrgyzstan.
Today exchange offices of Bishkek and commercial banks buy the dollar for 89-89.1 soms. This is 10-20 tyiyns less than at the end of last week. The selling rate remained the same — 89.72 soms. All commercial banks set the same selling rate. The nominal rate was set by the National Bank at 89.1258 soms.
Euro appreciated slightly over the weekend — by 20-30 tyiyns. It is bought for 96.3-96.8 soms, and sold for 97.6-97.8 soms. Its official rate is 96.6837 soms.
Exchange rate of the Russian ruble remains slightly above the som. Today it is bought for 0.98-0.985 soms, sold — for 1-1.02 soms. Its nominal rate is 1.0021 soms.
Kazakh tenge remains stable. Its buying rate is 0.12-0.135 soms, selling rate — 0.199-0.204 soms. The official rate was set at 0.1926 soms.
