Picodi analysts calculated how much residents of a particular country pay for home Internet. They found out in which country the service is the cheapest and where it is the most expensive.
Experts have learned that the most popular Internet speed in the world in 2023 is 100 Mbps. After the analysis, they studied the cost of such a connection in 85 countries with more than 350 operators.
Kyrgyzstan is on the list of countries with the cheapest unlimited Internet and takes 15th place — $13.4 per month (approximately 1,100 soms).
The leaders in low cost are Russia — $5.6 per month, Ukraine — $6.1 per month and Romania — $6.4 per month.
Home Internet in Norway is recognized as the most expensive. An ordinary Norwegian pays $79.4 per month (about 7,000 soms). Residents of Iceland ($62.1), Australia ($61.8), Switzerland ($56.9) and Ireland ($52.8) also have high Internet costs.
