The leaders and organizers of mass riots during the June 2010 events in Jalal-Abad were detained. The press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
A man was detained on November 13 in Tash-Bulak village, who in June 2010, being one of the leaders of separatist groups in Suzak district, actively called for the organization of mass riots with the blocking of roads, installation of roadblocks, and attacks on civilians trying to leave separatist-controlled areas.
In addition, during the operational search activities, information was obtained about the involvement of another citizen in separatist activities, who during the June events of 2010 was responsible for the so-called «Krugovoye» section in Suzak district. The following items were confiscated from him during the seach:
- SAKO TRG-22 sniper rifle (used by special forces units in many countries of the world) of 6.5 mm caliber with a Prazise Jagen optical sight and a Pulsar night vision device,
- Carbine SAUER 101 (rifled),
- Smoothbore weapon FABARM XLR 12 caliber,
- Ammunition for them (76 pieces).
