Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan Kurmankul Zulushev participates in the meeting of heads of supervisory authorities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Xi’an (PRC). The press service of the Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
They discussed topical issues in the field of increasing prosecutorial oversight to protect the rights of entrepreneurs, improving the investment climate in the SCO member countries and the role of prosecutors in the modernization of the state economy.
The Kyrgyzstan’s Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev also met with the Chinese Prosecutor General Ying Yong.
«The head of the supervisory body of the Kyrgyz Republic raised the issues of strengthening cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices of the two states, including in the exchange of experience and joint training activities, providing legal assistance in criminal cases, as well as the transfer of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic convicted on the territory of the PRC and improving the conditions of execution of punishment,» the statement says.
The heads of military prosecutor’s offices exchanged information in the field of combating international terrorism, extremism, illegal drug and weapons trafficking.
