A sports center named after Aisulu Tynybekova will be opened in Kochkor district. Presidential Envoy to Naryn region Altynbek Ergeshov announced at a meeting with the famous athlete.
According to him, the project will be implemented with the support of the head of state and the chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The three-time wrestling world champion is now in her small homeland and will meet with schoolchildren and conduct master classes for athletes.
Earlier, the United World Wrestling (UWW) published the world rankings of wrestlers. It was compiled based on the results of the Asian Games in China. The first places are taken by Zholaman Sharshenbekov, Akzhol Makhmudov and Aisulu Tynybekova after they won the World Championships in Serbia.
Aisuluu Tynybekova is one of the most titled athletes in Kyrgyzstan. She won a silver medal at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, last year she won a silver medal in Ulaanbaatar at the Asian Wrestling Championships, and in 2023 she won gold in Astana. Aisulu Tynybekova was recognized as the best athlete in women’s wrestling in Asia.
