Cabinet has no money to build sports complex for people with disabilities

The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan refused to deputy of the Parliament Dastan Bekeshev in the construction of a sports complex for people with disabilities. He announced this at a meeting.

The deputy noted that he had previously spoken with the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov, on the issue of allocating funds from the republican budget in 2024 for the construction of a special sports hall for people with disabilities.

«There is still not a single sports hall like this. I asked for money. Akylbek Japarov said that he would consider it and try to allocate money. But, unfortunately, I received a written answer that there was no money and I would have to look for it,» Dastan Bekeshev said.

Earlier, the deputy proposed to oblige the state to take into account the needs of people with disabilities when constructing new and reconstructing old physical culture and sports infrastructure.
