Kyrgyz athlete Jalaldin Abduvaliev won a silver medal at the Asian Para Games in China. The Games’ website reports.
He competed in the 5,000-meter race among blind athletes. In total, there were three athletes on the start list.
The result of the Kyrgyzstani was 17 minutes 18 seconds. Jalaldin Abduvaliev was accompanied by a guide Artem Shapilov.
The Asian Para Games are held in Hangzhou on October 22-28. At least 29 Kyrgyzstanis will take part in them in six sports: athletics, powerlifting, tennis, swimming, chess and judo.
