Acting Education Minister of Kyrgyzstan Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva responded to a question in Parliament why the ministry is constantly changing authors and editions of school textbooks.
MP Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva noted that frequent change of authors and editions leads to a collapse in textbooks sector. «This also needs to be regulated so that parents of students do not suffer and do not run every year in search of a new edition and author,» the MP said.
Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva noted that the system of printing school textbooks has been destroyed in the republic. «Therefore, we are reaping the fruits now,» the acting Minister of Education said.
At the beginning of the school year, Kyrgyzstanis complained about errors, shortage and other problems with school textbooks.
