About 569 trucks are standing in line to cross the state border with Kazakhstan. The Information and Communications Department of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.
According to it, there are 395 vehicles near Ak-Tilek checkpoint, Ken-Bulun — 121, Chaldybar — 53.
«The reason for the accumulation of trucks on the Kyrgyz-Kazakhsection of the state border is the increase in cargo traffic, especially agricultural products exported from Kyrgyzstan to other countries, which is typical for the fall season. The accumulation of vehicles is cyclical,» the department said.
The Border Service noted that there are no restrictions on the Kyrgyz and Kazakh side and checkpoints are functioning as usual.
