Employees of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service monitored bread prices in the country. The press service of the agency reported.
The prices for tinned bread remained stable, while the cost of tandoor bread and flatbread slightly increased.
The head of the service Gulshat Asylbaeva met with the Chairman of Mol Nan Bread Association Maksat Momoyev and the head of the Association of Flour Milling Enterprises of Kyrgyzstan Rustam Dzhunushev. At the meeting they discussed the stabilization of bread prices, as well as the adoption of joint measures to contain the cost.
According to Maksat Momoyev, six large and 23 small enterprises produce various types of bread in Bishkek. In addition to the capital, they provide bread to the population living from Kara-Balta to Bystrovka.
The Antimonopoly Regulation Service monitors bread prices daily and continues to work to keep the cost stable.
