The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) suppressed the activities of an illegal channel of legalization of migrants from Kyrgyzstan in Tyumen, local media reported.
Kyrgyz migrants were offered illegal stay in Russia. Fictitious labor contracts were concluded with them to ensure the right to stay on the basis of the simplified procedure provided for the citizens of the EAEU engaged in labor activities.
Employees of the FSB department detained a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, who for money provided a set of identity documents to those wishing to stay in Russia. These documents were then handed over to the head of the trade and construction company to prepare fictitious labor contracts and notifications to the migration department.
The investigation department opened a criminal case under the article «Organization of illegal stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation, committed by a group of persons». This crime is punishable by imprisonment of up to seven years.
