Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the island state in the eastern Caribbean Sea Saint Lucia, Jeenbek Kulubaev andAlva Romanus Baptiste, signed a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the signing ceremony took place on September 20 in New York on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of both countries discussed the possibilities of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Saint Lucia at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN.
The parties expressed their mutual intention to promote the development of friendly relations and establish interaction between the two countries.
