Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov held a meeting with local authorities in a video-conference format. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
They discussed implementation of administrative-territorial reform, preparation for the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024, as well as the organization of significant events on a republican scale.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that there are problems that have not been solved for years in each aiyl okmotu. It is necessary to make everything possible to solve them.
"Funds for the development of regions have been created, you have all the tools to really improve the standard of living of the inhabitants of the regions. If your efforts are not enough, we are always ready to provide support," Akylbek Japarov said.
He instructed the Presidential Envoys to the regions of the republic to submit a list of problems, the solution of which had been postponed for years, within a week.
In addition, the head of the Cabinet paid special attention to the transparency of tenders. Presidential Envoys to the regions should become chairmen of the tender commissions.
Akylbek Japarov noted the importance of 100 percent preparation for the autumn-winter period and festive events in the regions. Celebration of the 230th anniversary of Ormon Khan Niyazbek uulu, which is scheduled for early October in Naryn region, was specially mentioned.
